Unlocking Support for Dementia Caregivers
If you're caring for a loved one with dementia, you're not alone. Specialized services are available to assist you in addressing your unique needs and challenges.
REACH, which stands for Resources for Enhancing Alzheimer's Caregiver Health, is a no-cost dementia caregiving program designed to empower family caregivers through education, emotional well-being, behavior management and caregiver health support.
How We Help
REACH offers a comprehensive approach to caregiving, with participants benefitting from personalized 1-hour sessions. These sessions are tailored to their individual caregiving circumstances and can be conducted in-person, over the phone or via video call for added convenience.
Each session assists with
- Care planning
- Understanding the injury or illness of their care recipient
- Targeted problem-solving
- Stress management
This program is supported with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds administered by Tarrant County.
