- Health Fair Heroes embody the spirit of the SMP at health fairs and similar events, requiring a blend of enthusiasm and the willingness to travel to various locations.
Want to volunteer?
Volunteers must complete required training and demonstrate comprehension and skills before receiving assignments. The initial training covers the SMP program, Medicare basics, and Medicare fraud and abuse. The training is available in classroom and online formats, taking 4 to 6 hours to complete. Additionally, a background check is required for all volunteers.
