Kris Canfield leads fundraising, donor engagement and resource development efforts to advance United Way of Tarrant County’s mission, including overseeing the Second Century Campaign.

A seasoned nonprofit leader with nearly 15 years of experience in development and marketing, Canfield has a proven track record of increasing donor engagement, securing major gifts and building strategic partnerships that drive community impact.

Before joining UWTC, she served as chief development officer at the Center for Transforming Lives, where she increased annual fundraising and improved donor retention. She also held leadership roles at PathLight International and Girls Inc. of Tarrant County, where she developed major donor programs and led multimillion-dollar fundraising initiatives.

Canfield holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature and multicultural studies from Mid-America Christian University, where she was a collegiate athlete in softball and soccer. A past Fort Worth 40 Under 40 honoree, she serves on the executive board for the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth and Artes de la Rosa and is dedicated to strengthening the community she calls home.
