Builders United is a donor affinity group focused on improving the financial stability of families in need across North Texas.

Formed in 2023, the group is made up of corporate partners and individual volunteers in the construction and architecture industry, who are working to improve quality of life through educational initiatives and workforce development. These industry professionals contribute their skills, resources and time to build a stronger, more vibrant community with opportunity for everyone.

Volunteers Needed for Tax Prep Program

Heading into the busy tax season, United Way of Tarrant County (UWTC) needs volunteers for its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Annually, an estimated 4,000 households across Tarrant County use these free tax preparation services, which are available to families and individuals with household incomes of $60,000 or less.
