Meet Christine Kuehn, one of our dedicated Program Coordinators of UWTC’s One Second Collaborative (OSC), our youth gun violence intervention program. With a passion for interrupting teen gang and gun violence in Tarrant County, Christine brings a wealth of knowledge and commitment to her role.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Christine is a proud alumna of Sam Houston State University, where she studied Criminal Justice and Spanish. Before joining our OSC Team, she worked with Fort Worth ISD for 20 years where she served as a Stay-In-School Specialist in the Dunbar Pyramid. This experience fueled a deep desire to better her community and create positive outcomes for youth, leading her to UWTC.
In her role, Christine collaborates with OSC’s network of agencies and organizations that deliver street outreach, education, counseling, life coaching and other supports to promote wellness and resiliency for young people – and safety for the whole community.
Outside of her impactful work, Christine’s favorite pastimes include relaxing at the beach, spending quality time with friends and family, and indulging in the art of smoking meat. Her favorite time of the year is baseball season, when she cheers on the Houston Astros.
UWTC is proud to have Christine on our team. Through her work with OSC, she continues to contribute to positive change, ensuring a safer and more resilient future for the youth of Tarrant County.
