Meet Danielle Minter-Spencer, Texas Veterans Network Intake Specialist
For Intake Specialist Danielle Minter-Spencer, her personal experience as a U.S. Navy veteran helps her support the more than 110,000 veterans living in Tarrant County.
Originally from the small East Texas town of Whitehouse, Danielle has a big passion for making a difference in the lives of veterans and their families. Through UWTC’s Mission United program, Danielle connects veterans to resources to meet their unique needs, including VA benefits, financial assistance, healthcare, housing and legal resources.
Danielle loves working at UWTC because of the “work-life balance, the positive climate, the encouraged self-care and the supported opportunities for growth and development within the organization.”
Outside of her work with Mission United, Danielle is devoted to being an excellent mother to her two sons. This summer she looks forward to backyard barbecues and spending quality time with her friends and family. If you’re up for it, she’ll challenge you to a card game.
