ADVOCATE FOR THE AGING POPULATION
The Area Agency on Aging of Tarrant County (AAATC) invites dedicated individuals to join its AAA Advisory Council. We’re searching for passionate community and organization representatives who will further AAATC’s mission in improving life for older adults (60+), disabled individuals and their caregivers in Tarrant County. Members will work closely with AAATC leadership to maintain and improve the delivery of community based services.
Criteria for Membership:
- Older individuals, including BIPOC, who are participants or eligible for participation in programs
- Caregivers of older persons
- Representatives from healthcare provider organizations
- Representatives from supportive services provider organizations
- Individuals with leadership experience in the private and volunteer sectors
- Local and elected officials
- Tarrant County community members
