Thank You, GM!

During ceremonies celebrating the launch of GM’s all-new SUV at the GM Arlington Assembly plant, United Way of Tarrant County was among five local organizations that received GM Foundation grants totaling $56,000. United Way received $25,000 to strengthen the community. “While the world’s best vehicles are coming off the line right here at Arlington Assembly,” said Plant Manager Paul Graham, “at the heart of our operations is our commitment to giving back to the Arlington community, which is represented by the grants we are providing to these vital nonprofit organizations so they may continue their important work.” Other groups receiving the grants were the Arlington Independent School District, Community Food Bank of Fort Worth, Junior Achievement of the Chisolm Trail, and Parents Step Ahead.
