UWTC seeks innovative solutions from nonprofits, businesses, civic organizations, and individuals for issues related to education, income and health.
STEP 1: The deadline for submitting a Notice of Intent was Friday, June 23, 2017 by 5:00pm CST
STEP 2: Create and submit a formal proposal by Friday, July 7, 2017 by 5:00pm CST
STEP 3: Proposals will be selected to participate in a KERNEL Pitch Event, where finalists will have the chance to present their ideas to community investors. The KERNEL Pitch Event will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017.
United Way of Tarrant County has identified 14 areas for which innovative solutions are welcome. KERNEL proposals are encouraged to address one or more of the following areas. Anyone with a proposed solution within the areas of Education, Income and Health are encouraged to apply, but special consideration will be given if the proposal addresses the areas of need.
