United Way’s June 21 Day of Action is your opportunity to LIVE UNITED with United Way by volunteering to improve education, financial stability and health in Tarrant County. Multiple volunteer activities and educational opportunities will be available at several locations.
The Community Enrichment Center (CEC), a United Way partner, is the featured Day of Action agency this year. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Fort Worth United Way office at 1500 N. Main, Suite 200, and the CEC office at 6250 NE Loop 820 in North Richland Hills will serve as collection sites for toiletries needed by CEC clients. For a list of needed items, contact Victoria Walton, United Way Volunteer Engagement Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
CEC is a faith-based non-profit that serves Tarrant County families in crisis by providing the resources, tools and encouragement families need to improve their lives, move forward and become financially stable. To learn more about CEC and tour its facility from 9 to 10 a.m. June 21, register here. For more information about the CEC, click here.
