Congratulations to the 2014 United Way Blueprint for Board Service graduates! Over five evenings, these enterprising men and women learned about the role of nonprofit boards in our community, developed a better understanding of health and human services, and built relationships with a diverse group of local leaders.
Topics included strategic planning, evaluation, fundraising, nonprofit finance, and legal and ethical transparency, among others.
The Blueprint class culminated May 13 with a “Speed Networking Night” during which representatives of United Way councils and committees and United Way partner agencies met with the Blueprint graduates to discuss potential ways the graduates could become involved in the organizations.
