Bey4uway: A Chance to Win Beyoncé Tickets; A Chance to Give Back

Beyonce_website-landing-pageUnited Way is teaming up with Beyoncé and Parkwood Entertainment to galvanize a movement of “communitarians” in cities across the United States and Canada. Together with the #beygood movement, United Way is providing fans with opportunities to make a difference and create real impact. #beygood is Beyoncé’s social media movement encouraging people all around the country to make a difference by giving back.

United Way of Tarrant County is partnering with the City of Fort Worth to lead a multi-location Volunteer Experience on Saturday, May 7th, 2016, from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers will have a chance to win a pair of FREE TICKETS to the Beyoncé concert set for AT&T Stadium Monday, May 9th, at 7:30 p.m. in Arlington.

In support of the City of Fort Worth Ten on Tues initiative, this United Way of Tarrant County event will bring together Tarrant County residents to help clear four community parks of litter. Litter can have many unintended consequences, such as ending up in drinking water supplies. The city parks included in the event are:

  • Marine Park (North F. Worth), 303 NW 20th St. 76109
  • Krauss-Baker Park (South F. Worth), 3517 Park Lane Dr. 76133
  • Lake Como Park (West F. Worth), 3401 Lake Como Dr. 76107
  • Trinity Park (Central F. Worth), 2401 University Dr. 76107

Volunteers must register prior to the event or on the day of the event and be 18 years or older in order to qualify for the Beyoncé ticket drawing. Tickets will be randomly awarded at each of the four locations, and participants must be present to win.

United Way asks that volunteers complete a photo release form before volunteering. Participants are invited to bring canned food to donate to the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
