United Way and its Area Agency on Aging were among the sponsors of a May 21,2010, forum entitled “Health Reform and You: The Basics that Texans Need to Know.”
The forum was followed by an additional hour during which the details of Medicaid, health insurance regulation reforms and the impact on business and state government were discussed.
Other forum sponsors were Tarrant County Public Health, the Center for Public Policy Priorities and the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Tarrant County.
