Northeast Kids Fest
Working with the Tarrant County Public Health Department, the City of Euless and 6 Stones Mission Network, United Way-Northeast greets elementary students returning to school with a Saturday event that celebrates the importance of good nutrition and exercise as factors contributing to successful performance in the classroom.

HEB Transit
Established in August 2006 with $25,000 from United Way, this service helps transportation-disadvantaged individuals in Hurst, Euless and Bedford get to employment, job training, job interviews and other work-related destinations. The American Red Cross Chisholm Trail Chapter operates the service, which is administered by the North Central Texas Council of Governments. During United Way's 2010-2011 fiscal year, HEB Transit provided 5,072 trips to 293 riders.

Social Transportation for Seniors
Born out of United Way of Tarrant County’s Neighbor Helping Neighbor project in North Richland Hills, Social Transportation for Seniors (STS) utilizes volunteer drivers to provide rides to nonmedical destinations for older adult residents of that city. Riders can access destinations within seven miles of the city center, including most of the senior activity centers in the Northeast.
