If you need information about a local human service organization, chances are you’ll find it in the Blue Book Directory of Community Resources. Published by United Way of Tarrant County, the latest edition is packed with information about hundreds of nonprofit, church and governmental health and human service programs.

For more than 35 years the Blue Book has been an invaluable, labor-saving tool used by social service providers and the broader community. It contains detailed agency profiles, including contact information, service descriptions, intake procedures, fees, eligibility, hours of operation, languages spoken and area served. Entries are conveniently indexed by agency name, service type and ZIP code.

The Blue Book is $20, plus $6.50 for shipping mail orders. It is tax-exempt for nonprofit groups. The directory is available at these locations:
